I left the Sunflower bud that was the subject of yesterday's photo in water overnight and this morning found that it had opened - a rather small flower. Here's a closeup of the flower today:

Working on some botanicals around the house - the grey coneflowers in my "micro prairie" are budding out. Here's one shot - I want to go back and try to capture the Fibonacci sequence in the bud.

Getting back to making some new botanical photos. Here's a maple seed that I picked up off the sidewalk a few months ago - still has a trace of green in it.
